I hope you've liked it! 1 165 views since I started running stats. Probably only my closest family and myself who's checking it all the time haha.

Stockholm is in chaos. Because of an error in distribution of electricity the metro doesn't work between Odenplan and Alvik, meaning the main metro station is full with people. You know the videos with Chinese soldiers pushing people into trains? That full. Really full.

How did SL solve the problem? They replaced the metro with buses, short ones, every 15 minutes. Imagine how full the buses were! Hundreds of thousands of swedes, among them me had a rough time to get to work this morning.

I think i'll go back to riding a bike. Life gets easier, healthier and more efficient. Let me build you one!

Thursday : now look how brilliant the maze of this text becomes in your eyes. See you soon Fran!

September Times

Sitting at Espresso House in Stockholm on a gray Sunday afternoon enjoying this fancy thing called portable Internet. Surf wherever you want. Nice.

I took up a newspaper and read about something I had no idea of, pulled out my computer and yes indeed. It's true! If you haven't listened to Ratatat's new album LP4, DO it now. The New York duo makes another brilliant instrumental electro pop master piece like no other, which can be seen in the title too. It's all about the music, so make it clear it's their fourth long play. Real pearls among the tracks is the catchy and the longest one on the album Drugs with a German intro, Bare Feast and of course Party with the Children. I have to say, I like the album as a whole better than LP3. I just do. So good work boys!

Somebody asked if I know what I'm doing with my life the other day. It opened my eyes. Explore more. Do it for yourself and not for others. Thank you for the advice. Meet new people and make the best out of the time you have. In the end, life, as said before is not the days that passes. Life's the days you remember. Keep your friends close to you and don't push them away.

In-joy some pictures from the last weeks

My Schedule

Rick has a HTC Desire; the phone in the world. According to his and my words. Thinking of getting an iPhone but not really sure? Not an Apple fanatic? Get this one. It's not as expensive and it's fantastic! I'm using his Internet on my computer, through his wlan. We're in the middle of nowhere in Sweden. I'm updating this thing. Oh boy. What else? Let Rick comment on this post and he can tell you more about it.

Anyway! It's been about a month and a few days since I got to Sweden and so far so good. Although work and commuting eats up a shitload of time it's okay. Hey, it's weekend, I get to sleep.

My days look like following:

6.30 - wake up and eat porridge
6.50 - take the bus to town
7.45 - in town changing to bike
8.00-8.15 - at the office depending on my motivation
8.15 - gym
9.00 - work starts
12.00 - lunch break
18.00 - day's over, take the bike and sweat off to the bus
20.00 - back home, exhausted, eat
21.00 - family guy
22.00 - bed

What's that in facts, feelings and numbers?
- carved from stone
- "healthier" lifestyle
- zero time to spend money
- not too much social life
- 100 km biking per week
- approx 12 hours of commuting per work week
- depressed when realizing last point

- hungry all the time
- loves the weekends
- the world welcomes Fred to its real beauty

Going to town tomorrow with a 70-200 to try to capture some street life. Slussen early in the morning? Would be perfect. Hope to see a lot of photography potential. Haven't done it for a while. We'll see. I'll show off later. Until then go get yourself a HTC Desire and start eating organic porridge in the mornings. In-joy.

Less than a week to Christmas. Unbelievable!

Music - Slussen 23:15

I browsed through music blogs and crashed into Slussen 23:15 by the duo Fritjof Löfgren and Juuso Pikanen.

Some kind of mixture between dubstep and a jolly melody called Popstep. Catchy. Go listen to it and In-joy!
