Where's the washing machine?

For all of you who didn't know, I've moved to Töölö, Helsinki; from this day on THE place to be! I've always lived in the outskirts of whatever, but now I've got a store on the other side of the street, a Thai food restaurant and a pizzeria behind the corner, a nice cafe 50 meters from the door and a pub about a 100 meters from the door. Furthermore everything's close by, except the old apartment where I used to live before i moved to France :) sorry Dick and Jenny!

A big problem was that there's no washing machine. So i put a bid on a used one on the internet. Got it for 42€ and it's marvelous. When picking it up from Espoo the lady who sold it to us briefly asked if we know anybody who's in need of a couch. Me and Pille; my new awesome flatmate (don't worry Fran, you'll always be my brother from another mother) looked at each other and realized; WE need one. So we took it. It fits about 4 persons. We paid 3€ for it (just because I didn't have change to fit 42€). Believe me, it's the best 3€ ever spent on anything because this couch is AWESOMELY comfortable. I just might exchange it with my bed.

42€ - Hi-tech washing machine! (split between two: 21€ each)

3€ (split; 1,5€) - A couch that makes you speechless of comfort

Furthermore I got a table and a chair from Tom, Danke schön! AND we were IKEA shopping too. Best spent money in my life today. I didn't even spend it on beer (the bottle is just a prop from yesterday).

0€ - actually it's a leasing deal

A washing machine, THE couch, a table and a comfy chair = 22,5€
IKEA nonsense (the red gadgets and smthn extra) = 36€

Huuto.net or IKEA? Huuto.net. Definitely.

Back in Finland - Studying!

Sweden is behind for a while now again. Hear all, I'm in Finland! At least until May. That's when I'm supposed to get my bachelor's degree. Moving into the city so I have everything close as hell to me. Awesome!

About the thesis; The writing started the day before yesterday and I've written already a fair amount of qualitative text. I put a deadline to myself of writing 20 pages more this weekend.

I've got a nice study corner put up already.

I went to the library today as you can see. Anyway, this blog is not going to be updated in a long while, because I have hardcore deadlines for this thesis. So you have to survive without reading incredible stories from Fred for a while, because the only place he'll be in the following couple of months is in the library or in the bed.

But I promise, when it's started springing again, I'll be here telling about colorful happenings!

In-joy!

After spending 6 months in Stockholm a new chapter starts. I've finished my internship and I'm headed back to Finland soon to complete the rest of my studies. In-joy the pictures:
